I was installing my mbt tire back onto my 29” rim, while doing so I scared up the rim tape with the plastic tire fork. I’m not running tubeless so I’m curious if this damage will cause issues.

It’ll probably be fine if you’re running an inner tube. But in the future you may practice installing tires without a lever.
