Clearly their business model is rebranding Aliexpress parts and marking the price up like crazy. That or their Chinese suppliers are undercutting them. Regardless they market themselves as a German brand, which seems to be completely disingenuous. Yet they continue to get upvoted here and have a super popular presence with the Instagram fixed gear crowd.

Welcome to the bicycle industry. The majority of things manufactured outside the biggest brands are all Chinese catalog models.
Whilst I agree with others that the industry is a very copy paste ideology. Darkside are one of the worst offenders, of course there are other brands who have the same stuff, aluminium 6061 track frames with the same geo. But darkside constantly price their stuff very high, and it seems to be just direct from AliExpress.
Other brands at least have some of their own paint jobs, and or design changes.

Poor company with instagram influencers selling their souls and just claiming it’s the best frame ever. Give any of these influencers a nice steel fixed gear with some nice components. And they would throw their darkside in the bin.
