Hello!

Building a light-specced Propain Hugene with their configurator (hooraay!). Thinking of a pair of light carbon wheels, with 30mm inner diameter.

The configurator has one carbon option: Newmen Advanced Sl r.30 for 720 Eur (\~$800) – weight: 1610gNot sure if I should go with the option from their configurator or I can get something better at around $1k.

I saw some lighter options, at around 1400-1500g from other brands, for example:

* Hunt Wheels – [Carbon XC race 29](https://eu.huntbikewheels.com/collections/proven-carbon-mtb-wheels/products/hunt-proven-carbon-race-xc-29-wheelset) \- 20% off @ 900 Eur.
* [Roval Control SL 29mm](https://www.bike24.com/p2506734.html) \- 1100 Eur – it says 1300-1700g, then it says 1450g – not sure about actual weight yet
* Other good options? Of course, cheap is welcome, as long as the quality is there. I’m from **Europe** btw.

Is the price difference/hassle worth it? It’s not that I want to throw money away 😀

    I went with BTLOS for my build. They’ve been bullet proof for the 200miles I’ve put on them. Mix of XC, chunky rocky/rooty single track, and some skills park jumping.

    Will definitely go with them again if they continue to hold up like this.
