

I am currently building a bike and have the problem that the crank hits the front derailleur. I already had problems when tightening the front derailleur because it barely fitted and I had to unscrew the H screw completely to get it to fit at all.
The bottom bracket is a Sram Dub Bsa 68 with a 3mm spacer on the outside of the drive side. The crank is a Sram Force 46/33 and the front derailleur is a Sram Force etap AXS (not the latest version but the previous one).
What could I have done wrong with the setup that the crank or front derailleur doesn’t fit?
I have also seen that there is some space between the frame and the front derailleur mount. Is it possible that the mount was not fitted correctly?

This seems like not a correct der adapter but call those guys and ask … most of these are flush with. Seat tube

It seems they offer a 2x AXS build. I’d reach out to them and both check on that derailleur mount and check which FD they use. I wonder if there’s a sizing difference on the two and the one you have just doesn’t work out.
I had this issue aswell with my tarmac on my bike it was enough to put the 3mm spacer on the driveline side. What i would try is putting an extra spacer behind the driveside bb cup normally the crankspindle should be long enough to take the extra spacer. Ive done this on customer bikes a few times and they never had any issues from the extra spacers they were all specialized bikes though so I don’t know about your frame specifically but based on my past experience it should work. Alternatively the 5mm spacer might work just as well.
SRAM makes a wide version of both the Force and Rival cranksets. But I think that is more for chainstay spacing with wider tires and not for FD clearance.
That FD mount can’t be right surely ?
