Just sharing a few shots of a bike I spent many years searching for on eBay.
Handmade in my hometown…College Park,MD. Always wanted one, but by the time I had enough money to purchase it, the golden age of Proteus Bike Shop was long over. I believe there was a time in the late 1970s and early 80s when these guys were one of the top customers frame building operations in the USA.
Reynolds 531 tubes and Campy dropouts; mostly period correct Campy components (brake levers are modern-ish shimano).
