no idea what flair to put this under but basically im traveling on a plane and the bike bag weighs like 6kg and im allowed 22kg max so what are the chances it’ll work out. I believe all the parts are chromoly and it doesn’t feel heavy to carry. Im really hoping to be able to bring my bike with me so i can explore the area im gonna be in so any help would be appreciated

17kg is like 37.5 pounds. There’s no chance that your bike weighs that much, it’s not the 90’s 🙂
17kg is an average weight of a full suspension downhill mtb rig with triple crown forks, 29 inch wheels, massive disc brakes front and rear, etc etc…. You’ve got a stock, standard looking average park bmx. Same style as my Cult Hawk v2…. Which weighs about 11-12 from memory. You’ll be sweet but don’t forget to measure your gear like helmet, camera etc
Should buy some cheap luggage scales they’ll get their fair use
