Does anyone recognize this 3x standard and can tell me if I can easily and cheaply turn it into a 1x? I know I can just leave it in gear and pull the shift lever off but I’m looking for for a cleaner look and to spend <$50.
My hope is that the chainring is replaceable without having to change the crankset.

Looks like a 104 BCD spider, easily convertible with a new chain ring and a set of 1x chainring bolts.
Depending on your desired gearing, you could also remove the small and large chainring and just use the middle one. A set of 1x bolts might be necessary.
