Currently I have a 1993 giant ATX 770 that I have modified into my commuter, single-track, explorer, grocery getter. In my apartment I really only have room for one bike.
I’m thinking about replacing it with a new bike (I haven’t bought a brand new bike since I was in jr high haha).
Right now my short list is a Marin DSX2, surly bridge club, or Kona Unit x. I’m looking for something that will be fun to commute around a city on, I can send down single-track, and possible the occasional medium distance gravel ride.
Any thoughts on the bikes I listed or other recommendations? My next step is going down to a couple bike shops.
