Hey everyone,

I’m about to buy my first “proper” bike, and I need your advice for sizing. I’m 193 cm (6’4″) tall, and the size 60 of the Nicasio+ has a huge discount (~25%) near where I live.

I’ve been lurking on this forum for quite a while now and I have the impression that sizing down for gravel bikes is quite common and recommended.

Do you think I would regret buying the bigger size for the discounted price? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy the size 58 for the regular price?

(Unfortunately no bikeshops have the sizes in stock so I cannot do a proper bike fit before ordering.)

Thank you in advance for your inputs!

  2. A bike that is too large isn’t worth a discount. A good LBS should be able to make a size recommendation for you.
