I have front and rear clamp on brakes on an njs frame I converted to single speed for my gf. They were easy to install and have worked out great so far. Only thing of note was that I out tape under some of the brackets so they wouldn’t scratch the frame.
I saw someone use this brake for bracket clearance on a front flat rack. I just bought an origin8 flat rack, but I’ll be using a tektro r539 I have and hope it’ll be enough.
I used a front with my own caliper for quite a while – it did exactly what I wanted it to do…

I use a front one. Works great, easy to install. Had no issues
