Two years ago, I purchased a used Specialized Sirrus Hybrid for about $100. It’s been a fantastic ride, except the brakes are faulty on one side. I’m contemplating an upgrade to a Canyon Roadlite, which would set me back at least $700. I’m reasoning that while the new bike might be twice as comfortable, it’s certainly not seven times better, despite costing seven times more.
What are your thoughts on whether this upgrade is worth it?
