Hey all, I am new to mountain biking and I am loving it. I got a 2022 Marin rift zone 1 and it has been great for every trail I have been on so far. I read online that it was a great bike to upgrade, i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for any upgrades? I was thinking a seat post but not sure what else could improve this bike! Welcome to this wonderful hobby.
Don’t go overboard since you’re new. That bike is great for a newcomer. The only quality of life recommendations I have is to add a dropper post for inspiring confidence and safety for your descents, and going tubeless.
All can be done for a few hundred bucks.
Rest looks solid, ride on!
