  1. From what I found, just do an Amazon search for “adjustable training wheels” and you should be able to get two of the same sets and use for both bikes, just installed at different heights.

  2. Take the pedals off and drop the seat low so their feet can touch the ground. Basically, turn it into a balance bike for while they learn

  3. Yup as other answers, don’t bother with training wheels, they’ve long since been found to be a hindrance to learning to ride. Pedals (and crank arms if possible) off, seat lowered make it a balance bike, it helps them far better than training wheels to achieve balance and a level of confidence.

    Gonna add another vote for balance bike mode instead – it actually teaches them the skills to ride a bike, whereas training wheels are arguably counterproductive for steering/leaning.
