Just starting out and took my bike to some dirt jumps over the weekend and rode some trails. Chain, group set etc were pretty sandy. I won’t ride again till the weekend and wanted to clean up the bike. The sand doesn’t wipe off all that well so I lightly hosed it down (didn’t lube anything) and let it dry outside which didn’t take long.
What is everyone’s cleaning routine for similar conditions?

Remove the chain, apply degreaser. Wash off the packing grease, the sand should go with it too.
Strong hosing. Strong enough for the cranks to spin backward. Wipe dry then lube. I’m not waiting for nature to do its thing. While you wait for nature to dry it nature is also making rust.
