Kyo’s playing just now the kyogo of the last two years would have put that away I mean he was inches away from it being perfect great pass but second half I mean it it was for the majority of the game one way traffic wasn’t it the stats

Bomb report will tell you that Celtic dominated but tomorrow that’ll be some big big numbers in that I presume up there with um up there with probably dingwell as well in terms of the the chances that Celtic had in the game but what we seing

He blew hot and cold with his with his deliveries and his um and his decision making but I think there was a startat that came up halfway through the second half I don’t know if that I don’t know if the number went up it might have went

Up due to bernardo’s goal or that maybe that was just after it but um Lis Palma had made nine chances the next biggest in the game was someone with three so you know he’s making chances for the team making his own chances it’s just his own finishing and the finishing of

Other players that maybe is a problem but poo Bernardo first goal for Celtic I thought he was man of the match today personally thought he was absolutely everywhere on the pitch showed what he can do with and without the ball he gives you so much more on the ball um

Than the likes of David turno who didn’t come off the bench today um yeah I I just thought it was a not a breakout performance for Bernardo because I think that’s still yet to come fingers crossed that in Saturday against Rangers but very much stepping in the right

Direction in his Celtic career and Brendan Rogers was quick to praise him after the game Ryan we spoke about that we want to PO Bernardo to have a a confidence inducing performance to take into the Rangers game and I think he grasped today you know and we did speak

About that and we said we wanted him to be he was your man of the match I don’t know I thought M was excellent again as well but yeah I toss up between the two of them they were very very good I described his goal as a ferocious trundler ER

To I think it was Brandon or just bust out laughing because I said he’s not get the cheek to claim that goal has he because he get the the faintest and meest of touches but they all count and it went in the net so I was delighted

For him and he seemed to enjoy the moment didn’t he celebrated with the Celtic fans behind that goal loved it and I love the fact that yeah that’s what I want from Paulo Bernardo I want a bit of dig bit of quality and we have chance and he’s stuck it away and he’s

He’s got the most important goal of the game Ryan he’s got the one that makes you relax and breathe and again early into the second half 52 minutes 7even minutes after the restart when you’re thinking you’ve pummeled them you’ve not been able to score is it going to be one

Of these games where they labor to a victory but 52 minutes you’re breathing again and uh and I think Celtic after that just total dominance and you know it took Mikey Johnson coming on with the late brace and the late Salvo to make the score line a bit more respectable in

Terms of the the goals for but yeah I uh I think uh po Bernardo was excellent today I really do and if you can’t grow in stature and confidence after that then when can you Ian I don’t think dundy goalkeeper want to see the goal again but it doesn’t matter they all

Count absolutely in the first half he had a really good chance of glancing header a back header kind of like Li skills is one that when you watch it again you see that it’s going wide but then it has a curl towards the end you’re thinking maybe it might creep in

Just at that far post I was very very impressed with him today I just love his work off the ball and he’s shown that in Europe you know the numbers don’t lie he is a hard hard worker off the ball but I think he showed more on the ball today

Than off it which was brilliant really do want to see more of that from po Bernardo as he as his career progresses at Celtic you know as I said before he’s in the shot window to try and get a move for to Celtic it’s different from turno

That he’s probably going to leave the club either in January or the summer this is a guy trying to play for his permanent deal at Celtic the we Rogers was talking about in a in a um a press conference that’s going to come out in

Did a lot of good things today a lot of off the ball stuffff he did a lot of good stuff on the ball as you say so and that’s what you want and he sure you can mix it and I think the manager said that to him go and mix it because

Next week you’re going to have to mix it you’re going to have to get in about it in people’s faces and know with and without the ball so I was chuffed at that today really delighted and you know I think that was a Dr rehearsal for next

Week wasn’t it in terms of team lineup team shape I mean Abad and hatti I don’t think they’re ready to start but I certainly think that they might make guest appearances on the bench from the way the manager was talking you know so and that’s again

Another boost as well if they can get any minutes that’ be fantastic but you got to get the most out the guys that are going to play and yeah I uh that that functioned well for me today I thought Riley was very good today as well

And H yeah I N picking I was annoyed at kyogo for missing that chance I was curing him really was CU I mean it’s a brilliant pass it was an inch perfect Pass Run and just inches away from being a to Perfection the only excuse I can

Give him and there’s not any excuses at all he should in the back of the net Trevor Carson is actually poor goalkeeping because he makes it easy for Kyo and where to go he’s just got to put in the far post and quite a few chances

Today escaped that far post it was the same for scales as header from a a beautiful ball into the middle from h l Palmer from the corner it’s just it’s it’s dying it’s honestly dying to be attacked um does attack and it just goes wide to the post but the only excuse

That I can give kyogo is that he thinks he’s offside I know you play by the whistle but that’s the only excuse does he think he’s G to get flagged for off Sid as he puts it in the back of the net and he’s being a bit laad isical

Possibly play by the whistle but he’s on site yeah he’s well on site and uh he should just concentrate sticking it in the net Ryan and asking questions later know that old think it was B shank that said just stick the ball in the net sun and we’ll discuss your options later and

I think all Strikers should do that whenever they’re presented with those kind of chance so uh yeah is it’s my only gripe about today to be honest but did notice that Palmer is beginning to frustrate me as well with these Corner kicks he’s trying to score is’t he which

Is fine he ain’t no Charlie Tully which is the ultimate Celtic D reference fact it’s a Celtic Grand D reference to be honest anybody that’s old or remember that Charlie Tully scores from a corner was disallowed retake took it and scored again famously Brockville for Celtic in

The 50s but yeah uh I I start to see the evidence that L Palmer’s Charlie Tully but every now and again he takes a brain storm doesn’t he and thinks I’m going to try and score from this corner and he’ll do it one day probably and he’ll put my

Gas at a peep that’s fine okay I’ll wait for that moment to arrive but in the meantime I know your deliveries are good try and find players the one that scale scored against Livingston BR the one you spoke about earlier on you know with a header that could have gone in you know

So Strang nobody’s complaining but you know what again an unlikely her with an unlikely source of goal do it that’s and maybe that’s I’ve got a feel on that’s he’s kind of thinking I’m G to try this against Rangers at some point you know so it’s fine they look great

When they come off don’t they he’s better when he’s crossing the ball into the box rather than going for that shot because you see even the the ball into skills I’ll talk about it again watch that again it’s perfect skills it’s a disgrace that skills doesn’t score to be

Perfectly honest with you because it’s perfect you know he’s got so much time to just run onto it and put a head on it and and I think the the the header’s okay it just goes past the post um but yeah I think he should have had more

Than one assist today he’s constantly now I know that he’s an infuriating player and he’s infuriating you with he’s a decision Mak sometimes with corners but that’s what I like I like a player that will continue to do something that will continue to be Vindicated um because he’s goals and

Assists will vindicate him at the end of the season because he will have a lot because he on going 12th assist of the Season something is that it’s a crazy number it’s it’s 12 assists and nine goals in all competitions H this season I believe so yeah I’m happy with that Ryan

As I say he might not had the greatest game today but he made the most meaningful contribution which was to the first goal and the first goal is always important it’s the one that gets you off the mark and it and it helped Celtic go on clinch that game and I see some

Comment as I saying Celtic should have had more goals of course they should have had more goals because he created enough chances to do so I would be more concerned if they weren’t creating right absolutely right now yep were they a we bit negligent in front of goal yep

That’s fine but I’d settle for the same again next week and creating chances and he’ll hoping the guys can you know step up to the plate and bury them this time because the you have to drum into them the importance of when you get an opportunity next week that it has to go

Has to be taken you have to be clinical and ruthless and all these words so I I can accept being a bit you know propagate against dund D if next week they’re on their metal and they turn that possession that dominance and those chances into goals cuz they’re going to

Have to you’re going to have a team that’s going to going to come and play and rise to that challenge go goals against them count for double they count for double in the in the grand scheme of the go difference go difference could be a factor this season we don’t know

Exactly how close this league is going to be at the moment it looks very close you know results on Saturday could potentially change that one way or the other but as it stands you know goal difference could well be a factor come the end of the season and if you get a

Couple of goals against Rangers then that will count for double and it will put you in really good stead for the rest of the season I just think Celtic have an opportunity now to sort of do a 180 on the way the season was going Saturday’s a massive massive chance to

Do so because they managed to catch that catch that slip they didn’t have a complete fall because you know it could have went on for three four games they’ve stopped at two they’ve realized their mistakes they’ve got two very very important wins against stuffy teams in Livingston and dunde um particularly

Impressed by the second half against dunde in particular um I think it was just character build a character building performance and a couple of players really did stand up and be counted for including Mikey Johnson coming off the bench and making an impact I know he made an impact um Off

The Bench against St Johnson but this was even more so um he looked he looked at home playing away from home I don’t know if that say that says a lot about the player himself because I don’t I don’t think he can necessarily do it at

Celtic park at this moment in time but yeah I was delighted for him he’s for go Trevor Carson’s going to be looking at that goal and H and having nights about it because it is a it is a a shocking shocking goalkeeping error he kind of pares it into the back of the

Net he should be saving it the second goal is a bit more cleaner from miky Johnson and he deserved that he deserved not to have the oh it’s just a lucky goal sort of a sort of title next to him um he deserved the two goals on the day

Because he was making an impact yes he came off the bench but it it was a desired effect and he looked dangerous every time he was on the ball he got his he look bright he look sharp the old story isn’t it you don’t shoot you don’t

Score Ryan you know he’s he’s not to know that the goalkeeper’s going to make a wets of it you know but every every Winger or striker a forward minded player they’re hitting shots at goal to score aren they and Mikey Johnson’s came on and he scored too so I just hope that

He can get some philli from that get some confidence cuz he ran to the supporters as well and kind of relief that I’ve done something right you know you know you know and I like thato you know and and he has been a go yeah sorry sorry to interject it’s

Just a point that I feel that needs to be highlighted is the fact that you know more than any other player I think miky Johnson would have had the every right to give a bit back considering the support he’s had over the past coule self-inflicted yes because of his

Performances but it shows character within nearly two weeks since that well a week and a half since that Hearts game when fans were sarcastically cheating when he came off the pitch at halftime he could have easily given a bit of it back to the way support today but he

Didn’t but he was smart in that moment and he enjoyed it with the fans and the fans loved every bit of it back that shows that maybe there is a we bit of heing between the fans and the player but I like that that’s character building and you know I’ve got to

Applaud him for that for that move and that choice right the Celtics supporters are desperate to see Mikey Johnson fulfill his potential they’re desperate to see him add goals to his Armory they’re desperate to see him come on and do what he did today he said so many

Chances and a lot of them had lost faith and had lost patience myself included there’s still a large majority of supporters out there that still think he won’t cut it and he should be sold in January or sold in the summer whenever but you have to you know what’s it’s the

Old saying you’re only as good as your last game Mikey Johnson has come on and put that game to bed and had a a cracking we Cameo and he’s played himself right into that Squad you know for for the Rangers game on Saturday and the manager rates him so

I’m not going to you know go against the manager or whatever his thoughts are but you know you know what you’re watching you were watching a Mikey Johnson which you were hoping to be been watching for the last four years as I go back to that’s four years since his last goals

For Celtic dwell Ross County December 2019 that stat doesn’t tell you lies does it you know granted I qualified that but SE he’s been injured a lot of that time and he’s been on Lo in Portugal as well for half half of one of those season but he never got a look in

Under an POA you have to ask yourself why he’s getting another look in under Brandon roders and you know every other game where he didn’t perform people say it’s the last ch Last Chance Salon maybe this is the the life draft that he needs to cling to now and see right I’ve scored

I’ve got that off my back I’ve played well if I’m going to be used as that impact player these are the things I have to do consistently you can do it for one game and then don’t no do it for the next three or four if Mikey

Johnson’s in that team and Saturday I the squad and he’s coming off the bench on Saturday he’s got to do that again he’s got to score or he’s got to make things happen or he’s got to look Lively and I and I think a lot of supporters would accept that Ryan consistently over

A period and not just a one-off game like today talk about the talk about the mood music if he was to do anything in a Celtic Rangers game that would completely change the mood music and um that would would probably change the trajectory of his whole Celtic career

Because I thought it was over to be perfectly honest with you after the Hearts game that was a the atmosphere was toxic and that the sarcastic cheting when he went off listen you’re entitled to your own opinion I get that I totally understand that I just felt like that

Was the end that signal the end of Mikey Johnson’s career I thought he would have been maybe let out the back door um in January along with a couple of other players but you know you look at that game there’s your stage Rangers game there is your stage if you get 20

Minutes if you get 10 minutes if you maybe even get five minutes there’s your opportunity but another player that took you opportunity today today maybe won’t get talked about that me go under the radar I thought Yang was good again when he came on today um he came on he played

Well against levingston I was looking at his on ball values after that game against Livingston it was really high considering the lack of time it was on the pitch I’m sure it’ll be the same again because he’s such a confidence player young but when he knows that he’s get

The beating of his man he’ll continually do it all day long he’ll go down that by line and he’ll take that he’s got a good delivery on him doesn’t always come out to Play Always but when it does he’s got a good low Drive in delivery and you’ve

Seen that against abine earlier on in the season I I’ll double down on it there is Talent there in Yang and it’s got to be fulfilled one way if if there’s a loan deal to be had there um that he gets game time every single week then I wouldn’t be against it either

That you’re bringing them off the bench every week um we don’t know what the case is going to be when AB comes back imagine he’ll be one of the first names on the team sheet or one of the first names on the squad sheet whether that be

On in the starting line up of the bench but I thought Yang was good again when he came on and he made an impact the two of them made an impact when he came on Palmer was trying to make an impact and he made a lot of chances he only get one

Assist in the game Yang didn’t get any assists I know that but coming away from that game I enjoyed Yang’s performance in that time that he was on the park I thought o was okay when he came on as well had a snapshot chance that just

Went wide to the post um but yeah I I was quietly impressed by Yang and it might have went under the radar but I just wanted to bring that up because I thought he I thought he had a good performance yeah you looked you looked you looked sharp he looked good he

Looked he looked interesting he looked hungry I tell you who didn’t impress me at all do either I thought the boy own Beck or I was going come on and talk to him he is a person of interest for Celtic yes should be but he’s he’s a season long

Loan deal from Liverpool but if you’re talking about Defenders he played D made L of fiddle today excellently it’s one of the best defensive performances I’ve seen from a Defender because I watched that because I made up one of my points H for the newspaper article ER in instant

Analysis and I flagged up Owen Beck didn’t I and I said this guy he was Dundee’s best player by a country m you know and he stood out and obviously you can see that know a young talent and he’s not anfield for nothing but he should

Be a he should be a person of interest or somebody that you keep tabs on his his personal situation and see what happens when he goes back to Liverpool H after this long deal just keep your eye on him because I thought he was outstanding I thought he was

Excellent even even in the sprinting games when run on he covered the ground really quickly and I think MAA just chucked it against him just thought any joy and was like change or Joy at this guy and just and just fell at the game and became disinterested and I know my Ed is

Getting back to feel Fitness and all that but that’s not what I want to see from a Celtic player I want to see him go back constantly and you know and challenged but the boy Beck was I thought you know I don’t particularly when I’m watching Celtic I’m focused because we’re focused doing

Instant analysis and we’re trying to pick various individual players so you’re really attuned into them but it very rarely does an opposition player performance make me sit up and take notice but his did because I was watching MAA because I was maybe thinking about meeting MAA the focus of

One of my instant analysis points so that’s why I was kind of I thought who’s this guy and I I looked him up yeah un loan for Liverpool young in his 20 20 21 I yeah so yeah 21 so H yeah really impressed with him thought he was very

Good and uh I and I don’t have a a downer on Mya per say I just I just want to see him produce more in an attacking sense I think he does the defensive shifts Brantly when he’s asked to do it but ER he just he’s just capable so much more isn’t

He so I I I just it was just noticeable today that MAA didn’t have the beating of H this this guy on Beck so there you go the only I think the only downside with on Beck and it’s nothing that he can change in his game is just his

Physical stature it’s very similar to Greg Taylor and the fact he has a shorter left back and I don’t want toiz I’m in no I’m in no position to bizes for a start but uh I think Celtic just need they need a more they need a they

Need a bigger body at left back and I think yeah just a couple of inches you don’t need to be six foot five 510 511 will make all the difference in terms of headers and and Greg Taylor isn’t even that bad in the year most times he has a

Good leap on him but I just think they need a more physical Presence at left back on Becka is a good player and he’s a person of interest but that could be one downside the Celtics Z yep I’ll I’m going to flect up leave my alone he’s

Getting up to speed I know you hate him Tony whenever I ever ever said I hated d ma I just I I H I’ve praised him when he’s deserved it I I love the defensive role that he brings I think it’s excellent so I’m going to refute that

Because Hate’s a strong word and it’s a terrible word in fact to say about somebody and I don’t ever I’m not capable of hating anyone or or anything it’s just not in my vocabulary so I would like hate a recoil from instantly and I’ll always H flick comments like

That up and address them because I don’t hate people I just go call it call it as I see it and yeah there you go I don’t dislike him either that as you’re ref just you know I I have my opinion on me I think he can produce a lot more and

I want to see him just a lot more attacking wise but you have to call it out when a guy doesn’t play particularly well but it wasn’t so much that he was wasn’t playing particularly well I was highlighting the fact that an opposition player played them really really well

His best as I’ve seen anybody play my I love it when Mya snuffs out to have young guys like that and I love it when he scores but he just he scored enough for my liking and I want him to score you Japan yeah I know and he scored in

Preseason when he was in Center forward which made me think all right you know there’s a there’s an attacker there and a good one and it could be a clinical and a lethal one so I I want to see a bit more of that that’s also hate and

Dislike I have to take issue with words smell the glove I’ve got a bon and I will ER so I just um Ryan you know me I’m incapable of these things which some people label at you sometimes and H yeah optim I still love you M the glove

Even though uh you said that we can all we can all disagree um on on that’s absolutely and you know it might just be a throwaway World hate you know some people have different feelings on on how strong that word do you just see it one

Way he sees it the other way that’s that’s just the way it is at the end of the day with with my I think he gets away with a lot with the Celtics support from being perfectly honest because of his defensive work the fact that sometimes times he looks as if

He’s never kicked a football in his life um people just sort of turn a blind eye yeah but there’ll be other players sometimes Mikey Johnson’s one of them that will get get a lot of scrutiny for maybe not Mis for misplacing a pass once when it is part of maa’s game you know

He takes a lot of risks he’s probably the biggest risk taker when it comes to taking an extra touch or playing a pass into an area where there’s absolutely nobody where you’re like what is he even what has he even seen putting the ball in that area but his defensive work

Makes up for it you know you’re going to get a shift from him much the same as Palmer as well you know you’re going to get a shift from Palma um which is why it’s very hit and miss I think some people just like the the safeness or

Precision of what daughter brought to the team and that’s totally normal listen I loveely that he brings that defensive shift in that work rate and that energy and when he’s asked to do a job and negate certain players does it really really well I have no quals
