Hello.I am kana from Kanatrip. I went to Bremen. It is a port town located in the northwestern part of Germany. The city flourished during the Middle Ages as part of the Hanseatic League. It is one of the most popular tourist cities in Germany. It is also the last stop on the Romantic Road.
The most famous thing in Bremen is the Bremen Town Musicians. We stayed the night before. The next day I stayed in Bremen. Highlights include architecture, popular alleys, and statues beloved by the city’s residents. You can meet the Bremen Town Musicians in various locations around the city. That’s part of the fun.
We visited in mid-November. The city was preparing for Christmas. I would like to convey the charm of Bremen to the viewers. Let’s take a look at this video♪ We left the hotel. Then we will sightsee around the teacher town. You can easily explore the old town on foot.
Winter in Germany is very cold.It is important to take measures against the cold.Wear gloves and a warm jacket… The Christmas tree was prepared for Christmas. This is a view unique to this season. I could see them decorating the Christmas tree.I’m looking forward to seeing it completed.
We arrived at Market Square. It is located in the heart of the old town. A Christmas market will be held here. I wanted to see the preparations for the Christmas market, but I haven’t done it yet. Enjoy historical architecture from every angle.I think this square is wonderful.
There are two buildings on this square that are beloved by the citizens of Bremen. The first one is the city hall. This is a world heritage site. It features a green roof and solid brick construction. The two architectural styles are in harmony. It is one of the most beautiful city halls in Germany.
The inside can only be seen on guided tours. The second is a statue of Roland. It’s next to City Hall. This statue has the meaning of freedom and independence. This is also a world heritage site. We will visit the must-see tourist spots in Bremen.
A tram runs through the city. This scenery is unique to Europe. It stood quietly in the corner of Market Square. It’s always surrounded by lots of people. So it should be easy to find. The statue consists of a donkey, a dog, a cat, and a chicken.
If you want to have this to yourself, come see it early in the morning. It’s 9:30. However, I was not able to take a photo right away. It is said that touching a donkey’s feet will make you happy. I was really happy to see this statue.
I enjoyed the statue. Afterwards, we will take a walk around the city hall. This is a dry fruit and nut shop. I’m going to take a look inside the store. There were many types of food available. I had soybean crackers. It reminds me of Japan.
Rice crackers are so popular in Europe that they can often be found in supermarkets. A monument forms part of the church wall. You can experience German culture throughout the city. A fountain that gives you a sense of history. It was built in 1909.
Flower markets are often held in the square next to the fountain. There were many Christmas wreaths. There are things that will be decorated from now on and things that have already been decorated. Prices vary across Europe.Prices in Germany are relatively low. I thought the prices at this store were low.
There are several types and sizes. Our family has no plans to decorate the Christmas tree this year. But I want to feel the Christmas atmosphere, so I’m going to buy this wreath and decorate it. By the way, the price was 16 euros.
It’s almost Christmas and the city is decorated.I think it’s even more beautiful at night. This is the square behind the city hall. There is a modern fountain in front of the square. It’s called Neptune. There was a market in this square. This is also where the Christmas market is held.
This is a food stall where you can eat Bremen’s famous dishes. You can see a lot of the Bremen Town Musicians in addition to the statue. Many products are sold in the market. Vegetables, meat products, spices, flowers, etc… There weren’t many shops because it was Sunday.
This is part of the department store across from the market. I’ll go into the store. This is a shop that sells special products from Bremen. There are many stylish postcards. Many have a musical band motif. I found Japanese! I feel happy when I see things from my home country.
In addition to miscellaneous goods, there are also many foods. I think I will spend a lot of time here. This is a tea towel. It is a marine pattern that represents a port town. There were many original T-shirts on display. This is the store logo “Made in Bremen”This is fashionable.
This is a T-shirt for children. It is a pattern of a music group. The material is cotton. Available in 5 colors and sizes from 92 to 146.The price is 20 euros. The name medicine has candy in it.This is interesting!Good for souvenirs. These are often sold at Christmas markets. It looks cute!
This design can be seen throughout the store. This is the work of a designer based in Bremen. I think it’s a design that everyone will like. A mug with the logo of Bremen’s soccer team “Werder Bremen”. There are other mugs as well. There are many things that were given as gifts.
No dressings or preservatives are used. This is a healthy gummy. We had a great time and got to see many Bremen specialties. The walk around town continues. It is located next to the Markt Square and the author. It is characterized by its two towers and stately buildings. You can feel the history.
You can get a panoramic view of the city by climbing to the top of the tower. This is recommended. Enjoy the view from the top of the tower. It is a staple of tourism in Europe. Next, head to Bremen’s most famous street. It’s almost noon. The number of people has increased.
The street runs from Market Square towards the River Weser. There is a restaurant in the basement of City Hall. This type of behavior is common in Germany. It’s called Ratskeller. Ratskeller in Bremen was founded in 1405.It has a lot of history and a lot of wine.
Guided tours are popular. It comes with wine cellar tasting.Recommended for wine lovers. The height is 10 meters! Head to the street next to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.Music is coming from that direction. It is a short street about 100 meters. You can enjoy the medieval world. There are shops, cafes and museums.
This sign was built in the early 20th century.Made by a coffee merchant. The medieval townscape has been recreated. Enter the store right at the entrance. This store carries everything from classic to modern items. This is a ceramic beer mug. A classic souvenir from Germany. The ones here are designed with medieval townscapes and town names.
There are also movie theaters, casinos, and boutiques. It’s a very nice street. The brickwork is wonderful. Everything is thin, narrow, and small. That’s so cute. There’s something very interesting ahead. That is to be able to see the glockenspiel. It’s a metal percussion instrument. It is also a friend of the glockenspiel. This is a German Meissen product.
There is a bell between the roofs. It plays a beautiful sound at a fixed time. The sound is bright and beautiful and can be heard from far away. Great post design! You can also find beautiful stained glass. There are many cafes and restaurants. Thanks to this, you can enjoy your lunch or tea time.
There are ornaments that children will like. They will also enjoy looking at the aquarium. I think that your sightseeing will be more enjoyable if you refer to the information board. This is an important signboard for sightseeing. They are all over the city. There was also a music band at this place.
Go to the Weser River. It is a symbol of the city. Does that mean it’s only 4 minutes until the statue of the band? The scenery was a little desolate. Because there was no sunlight. In spring, an antique market is held on the banks of the river.
By the way…About the unwinding of Europe. It’s very easy to walk. It is separated from the bicycle path. There are some things to be careful of. Pedestrians should make the mistake of not walking on the bicycle path. That is not easy for us Japanese people. Because I’m not used to it.
Bremen has one of the best bicycle paths in Germany. It was painted and color coded. We decided to go for lunch. The sound of church bells makes you feel like you’re in Europe. Tour buses are a sight unique to tourist destinations. Bremen is a port city. It is famous for its seafood dishes.
This store has a high rating on Google Maps and has many reviews. There is a kids menu. Curry rice with plenty of seafood grilled salmon Everything we ordered was very delicious. After dinner, it’s time for the children.I went to the park to play. And then I went home. This video ends here.
Thank you for watching until the end. See you in the next video!
