I don’t mind putting work an money into it, if it’s gonna end up being a nice bike that I’ll want to ride.
I’m not entirely sure of the year, but somewhere between 1983 and 1985 because I can see the 4130 sticker in one of the pictures, so it has at least Cro-Mo main tubes, and possibly even double-butted main tubes and straight Cro-Mo rear triangle. The bike is in my size and they’re asking $60.
I’m just wondering if I’ll be able to either fit a 27×1 1/2 or maybe wider or even do a 650B conversion with a 38-42mm tire. Since it’s a more casual bike, I’m assuming it has some more clearance than a top of the line racing bike.
