In March 2018, I left my home town, Brussels, to cycle until New Zealand ( seapart planned by boat). My dream for the biggest part came true as I stopped the journey in Thailand after a one year ride across Asia because of the pandemic.
It as been a thrilling experience shared with some relatives and great fellows across the rainy and green Europe, the dry and welcoming Middle East, the big spaces of Central Asia, the constrasted and moutaineous Indian Subcontinent and finaly the pleasant and relax South East Asia (including an extended stay in Thailand).
En Mars 2018, je suis parti en vélo dans le but de voyager jusqu’en Nouvelle-Zélande. J’ai réalisé mon rêve en grande partie avec une traversée d’un an jusqu’en Thailande où j’ai été stoppé par la pandémie.
Ca a été une expérience incroyable seul, avec mes compagnons de voyages, avec mes proches à travers l’Europe pluvieuse et verte en hiver, le Moyen Orient sec et chaleureux, les grand espaces d’Asie Centrale, le sous continent indien contrasté et montagneux, l’Asie du Sud-Est décontractée et tempérée (incluant un séjour prolongé en Thailande).
