I have $20 gift card on Backcountry.com until the 31st of December and need proper pedals now that I have real MTB shoes. I found these Supacaz Smash Dh pedals for $18. They are slightly concave and the pedals seem good but I can find any reviews or recommendations online. I am a beginner ish and ride flow, some tech, and want to learn jumping. Would these pedals work for that or are they to Downhill oriented. Thanks!
TL DR; are these discounted DH pedals bad for a beginner?

Those pedals are great. I use the same pedals under a different brand name (TAG Metals T3) and have zero complaints. For the price you can’t go wrong.
