I’m currently diagnosing a (carbon) fork wobble during braking on my RC 500 entry level road bike.
I have the exact 160mm rotor shown in the picture, which have the outer perimeter which is not a perfect circle but has “waves”, as shown.
By eye I can see that the pad is totally covered only in the areas where the width is maximum, but at minimum rotor width about 1/4 of pad is not covered, as shown in picture.
Is it ok? Can it cause fork wobble?
Looking online, almost every rotor have the outer perimeter in different shapes but never a perfect circumference. Is it just for aesthetic? My rotors are the stock ones (cheap promax rotors), do better rotors cover all the pads in all the position?
