after searching for a packable rucksack and asking for recomendations this bag never came up at all only osprey ul packable and sea to summits offerings they were paper thin and didnt feel confident in the material and neither was waterproof and both were nearly double the price.
I wanted a packable rucksack for food storage/shopping and or extra water, I do store food in my tt bag 4L so 4 or 5 days worth depending on what im taking but obviously its not practical to take in the shops and then theirs food packaging bulk to contend with, so started looking for a packable rucksack to take in the shop also wanted one to carry extra water if needed.
it packs slightly larger than ospreys or seatosummits offerings its 22L but its way more durable and isnt see thru, it does have an internal stuff sack pouch but if you pack it neatly you can get it much smaller (slightly larger than an apple) or just folded in half in handlebar bag not even noticeable it weighs nothing, it has 3 small internal pockets 1-zipped 1-slip pocket and a larger net pocket the one that doubles as stuff bag and external bungee cord for whatever.
should also mention its fully waterproof. looks way better than the other two imo bonus!
Ive even started taking this on day trips its handy for non waterproof layers if you get to warm when the weathers crap been using it for a while id say its an essential item for any bike travel.
