  1. I rode one for years until i changed my frame and with the taller head tube my steerer tube was too short for it. Cool stem but you have to check it and retighten it fairly often to avoid surprises.

  2. Used to have this and the V2, preferred the v2 because I had better experience with them but still great looking stems. Only problem I had was slipping more than usual once the knurling(?) got worn out

  3. Oh yeah I had one of these. Think it could be cool on like a cruiser build, but was not great for actually riding BMX. I remember I could feel it flex and it needed adjusted pretty often

  4. My friend has one fitted to his fixie, the bolt had stripped years ago so I fixed it for him with a stainless steel sleeve nut and still going strong

  5. I had to take one off a kid’s bike at Woodward West in 2005 and, when the wedge finally came loose, it flew across the shop.

    Good times.

  6. Dude yeah! Had it in polish ended up giving it to a buddy and kept my animal jump off. I liked the elementary V3 but it was kind of annoying to tighten. Overall solid stem
