Purchased the Ortlieb Quick Rack because it can be easily removed.
As most reviews have suggested, it is a bit fiddly to set-up, but once that is established, it’s straight forward to mount. Unmounting is proving a little more difficult… I need to apply some force to the levers.
I had some issue getting the rack to clear the frame. As you can see in the pics, I ended up having to use three washers (instead of the suggested two in the manual), as the bike frame was getting in the way of the rack from dropping into the attachments. Even then, there has been some rubbing/friction off the rack.
I also had difficulty screwing in the QL3.1 attachments to the rack. It could just be my poor screwing technique (ಠ_ಠ), as the instructions indicate you have to screw it at 90 degrees to the rack.
The Commuter-Bag Two Urban has been fine. I mainly purchased it for transporting my laptop to work. I did a grocery run today, and it also served well being quite roomy. Being a messenger bag, it didn’t look too awkward walking around with it on my back.
I do find my foot sometimes clipping the bag though. Given the QL3.1 attachments are screwed in at set locations, I don’t think there’s any way to adjust the angle of the bag.
In terms of the riding experience itself, I haven’t had too much difficulty adjusting. Though once when walking the bike around a bollard, I discovered how easy the bike can topple over should you raise the front wheel (and only have one pannier on).

Thinking of purchasing a crate/basket next, as I want to be able to lug some larger items if necessary. Adding a second pannier bag is also an obvious step, for balance at least.
