i needed 184 and 186 but accidentally got 184 and 188 , should i use the 188 ones on one side and 184 on the other or it will be too long. or should i use 184 on both?

I would use the 188s where the 186s are supposed to be. Neither situation is ideal, but better too much than too little.
while not ideal, it should with a bit of care work. Longer spokes on the smaller hub flange if they’re differing sizes
You can change the lacing pattern to a 4x assuming you agre going 3x on the 188 side it will require ever so slightly longer spokes might just do the trick.
