Why Film on a Bicycle

Traditional video makers tend to walk, which unless great care is taken, produces a bounce in the video footage. I find filming on a motorbike can be too fast, not allowing you to take in the scenery. The bicycle allows me to interact with people whilst providing smooth footage. If you find it is still too fast, then you can slow the video speed down to half speed, which will still be 30 frames per second.

Why doesn’t the footage look clear

Sometimes I make an error when shooting the video (but very rarely) The most common cause is that your internet connection on YT has set the resolution to below 4K, so check your settings.

Camera Equipment

Since starting the channel I have used my trusty DJI Osmo Pocket 2 (Creator combo)
The Combo comes with a Bluetooth microphone which has given great performance, even when riding at speed. I film at 4K & 60 frames per second, my light and ISO settings are on Auto. The Camera is strapped to my left wrist (so it might appear that I am close to things on the left). I control the Camera head via an application on my phone (Mimo), using my right hand Thumb. Action cameras to date, have smaller light sensors and are not competitive at present for low light filming.

Well I haven’t been in town since uh pretty much my last ride we we were out last night but only only for a meal and it was very busy we we’re down beside um gu food in soy Diana yeah that’s that’s triangle ble show you on the way Back this new camera I always feel like I’ve forgotten something but I’m pretty sure I haven’t yeah new opening hours are now in place so a lot of places are open till 4: maybe even 6:00 I want to turn right but this is not the easy you saw to turn right

On more about try to overtake me when I’ve got my hand out anyway sorry Diana yeah so we were down here last night for uh for dinner and we were in Longhorn and it was packed and so was Patrick and so was beer and that was till 9:00

So there’s maybe a lot of people not out until later and later with these uh especially with these later opening Hours there was an announcement about the oneway system on soau they’re still going to give it a try but they’re not going to do it until next year something here on the left Las Vegas beer garden think he’s scheduled for mid January is hoping to open and

Uh a lot of the buildings they’re they all pre-fabricated off site so it will be a quick build we’ll just doing something a bit different tonight s Diana no High season it’s not like the high seasons before but in saying that preco things were getting quieter for High season and

Off and this this is why you’re getting reports oh the time’s busy and then oh no it’s not busy cuz the traffic’s mental it’s just different type of customers that are com in here a lot more families people with cars so if I come byy car into town it takes

Me 30 minutes to get to here takes me 11 minutes on my bike yeah we’re turning away from this in a minute take you up Sor honey we Go I don’t know what that place is like the one bab Brees I’m pedling a bit faster than normal here just cuz there’s not a lot to show you at this this end I think what else has been happening in town it hasn’t been that busy with news you know what I mean nothing major left here honey massage or soapy or whever you

Want and I don’t know if it’s a time thing but some of the bars here fairly quiet I know um there’s a couple that we Nong and myself go into and they don’t get busy till 2:00 in the morning or they weren’t getting busy till 2:00 in the morning

When it was the old closing times as you can see here a lot more bars than they used to be Then you get an empty bar and then the next Bar’s pretty Busy so people have obviously got their favorites They’re all boys just in case you’re not a regular of the channel that’s is back on soy cow Rock Factory over there busy take in the tree time see what it’s like Tonight by the way this bike is a fair bit heavier than my uh my mountain bike it’s about double the weight of it When I’m doing this part of the right I don’t have my uh electrics on H I would say it’s up a little bit but it’s it’s not what you what you would if you’re a regular here it’s not what you would call High season Okay TimeWise 9:27 So that one on the left’s now big bell bar then Lucky Bar yeah so uh redro Lounge opened last Saturday and uh they haven’t had the opening party yet by Will try and take you inside when uh when that’s On the police hav a walk About So this one here used to be the buzzing bar but is now bar 39 that’s what he charges for a beer during happy Hour yeah good by the number I’m seeing just now it’s kind of how you feel early November should Be and then you get to the candy candy Club looks pretty packed in there quite Busy if you look over there sports lunge there’s maybe a table of 10 guys and that’s about It we got the wi karaoke bar here is Empty I did have some friends who went into the the beach the beach club it’s in the middle of tree town and uh they said it was was very quiet they did have a good night and uh they got some good deals on but it was it was maybe about a week and
