I’m in the process of restoring/updating an old full suspension Gary Fisher we got for free for my 5’4″ spouse. Since I have the chance it seems like a good idea to tackle the crank arm length. I just watched a Berm Peak video on it and did the measurements and produced 154mm as the recommended crank arm length.
From prior posts in this form and from searches around it seems there are the actually a few options on the market and I tried to consolidate most of them here. Since I’m replacing the BB and not tied to one type of BB over another I’m listing most everything I have found that also allows for a 30t chainring for a 1x setup. The bike in question is the old standard of 135mm rear spacing but I tried to note chainlines below:

* Trailcraft Cranks – Come in some really odd sizes – 127mm, 140mm & 152mm -[https://www.trailcraftcycles.com/product/trailcraft-direct-mount-cranks/](https://www.trailcraftcycles.com/product/trailcraft-direct-mount-cranks/) \- think these are also the SRAM 3-bolt direct mount standard. 49mm chainline (but swappable to boost/+ with a 3mm/non-offset chainring maybe?)
* Suntour Zeron-1-x (152mm) [https://www.srsuntour.us/products/zeron-1-x](https://www.srsuntour.us/products/zeron-1-x) \- unclear on how good the chainring is and is only compatible with suntour chainrings, but $80 with a BB is a price that can’t be beat for an old bike – additional $50 expense necessary to convert to boost chainline

* Sinz MX3 Crankset – These are BMX cranks and they go down to 140mm. Since they have a 104mm BCD can get easily find 30t narrow-wide chainrings – though chainline is uncertain.

* Aliexpress cranks – heard about these but didn’t research yet
* Hope cranks – did some initial research but out of desired price range
* 5dev cranks – mentioned on the Berm Peak video but I stopped paying attention when I saw the price!!!
Leaning toward the Trailcraft (152mm) since they are easy to find, a good deal, come with a BB and a chainring, are setup for an old 49mm chainline with a 168mm q-factor (narrower than he Canfield cranks) but still have some chainring options in the future if 30t doesn’t work out.
