I am looking to buy a Shimano Deore BR-M6100 brake and on the manufacturer’s website it says ” Only compatible with resin pad”. How can a calliper be only compatible with resin pads? I’d like to use it with an SM-RT64 rotor which is compatible with metallic pads. Pls help.

The ‘only compatible with resin pad’ bit you’re seeing there refers to some of the rotors listed, not the caliper.
