ok. sooo i got over 50 comments on another sub, but no awnsers. will just a normal service fix this?? or is it a bigger issue? what do i do from here?

See if your local bike shop can do shock rebuilds or find a mountain bike suspension service place. I don’t know what the problem is here I’ve never seen a shock do that, but it doesn’t look good.

Looks like a worn or broken seal. A rebuild should sort it out.
