Full time mountain biker here. Found a deal too good to pass up so now I have a gravel bike. I was looking for something to use for a trainer and out where it is sunny in the colder months. Bike has some scratches but otherwise seems ok for $550. I was mostly looking for a host for a trainer. Any suggestions on how to get lower gearing other than to get stronger? Took it in the snow today and it was really fun but some hills were getting close to my max.
I am on a sora groupset with the lowest being 34/34t. Brakes kind of suck. Shifts like a dream compared to a mtb. Might switch to tubeless. 700x40c tires.

You could get a goat link and put a big ol dinner plate off a cassette on it. Looks like a long cage derailleur so you should be fine.
