Hello, I’ve been wondering what would be a fair price to pay for 2018 Carbon Diverge with this specs?

It cost $3500 as new, I can purchase used in good condition for $1900. Is the future shock here a gimmick or it’s really useful? Would you recommend the bike?
Would you even consider used carbon bike?
