Let’s take a look at our first catalytic reaction in this series, the Stetter reaction, which will allow us to look at catalytic cycles. This will also be an example of Umpolung chemistry, which we have discussed previously. The Stetter reaction allows for condensation of an aldehyde with an enone, so let’s get a closer look at how it works!

I want you to organize a debate , where you are the moderator, between kent hovind and that Rice university clown.
🙂👍
Good video sir
Thanks
I just watched the video with you and flat earther Dave. Wow! It's frightening how those people that just copy other people and their videos. I'm not exactly brilliant, but until one of those folks can show me all the people that fell off the edge of the earth I'm sticking with the big old globe. And of course the Big Bang!!

Request:
I'm trying to find a good answer to a question, and i can't find a source i trust with the depth of info I'm looking for:
Purine content in diet – i don't understand how it's possible for certain foods to be high in purines. Are there more purines than the DNA, RNA ones? If not, how is there any significant difference between foods considering that everything has DNA RNA with purines and pyramidines at 1:1? What is the difference in content for high purine foods vs low purines foods?
There's so much stuff out there on it but nothing really explanatory beyond a list of 'bad foods'. And part of me is screaming BS, but i have insufficient knowledge to know about it.
Thank you prof!
Slow down 😂I’m still going through General chemistry. I’m about 1/3 the way done
you teach better than my teacher

cool video as always, this channel has more reactions than a lot of the organic chemistry introductory textbooks, really a gold mine
