Got a new bike with tubeless ready wheels. The wheels came with tubes inside, and I wanted to set them up as tubeless. Is the tape installed around the rim a tubeless tape, or do I need to replace/cover them with a new tubless tape?

Looks like tubeless tape to me. Double check if the tyre is tubeless ready and you’ll be good to go
Looks like your classic yellow tubeless tape to me! If it’s yellow, untextured, and stuck to the rim bed: it’s good old tubeless tape!
Agree the wheels came pre taped. It’s not hard to tape wheels anyway.
Im not sure but I hink its only the rim tape and you have to install tubless tape above it, had a simillar situation with my wheels and I had to buy the right tape extra.
I thought the same… that my “tubeless ready “ rims and tires had tubeless tape. Nope. Filler leaked out of the spokes…. Others here say it looks good… if you have leaks consider replacing the tape.
If I remember correctly the sti on wtb rims means it’s tubeless ready
