Your question is a bit confusing. I think you mean “where is it safe to clamp the rail?” The MAX line should not be inside the green lines, I would move the saddle forward about 6mm.
The top clamp is the centerline. If you line up either of the max lines to the redline, you’ll notice that the boulder lines on the outside lineup with the edge of the top clamp.
