Thanks for having me over! Next time we make apple crumble!
My favourite accent is Yakka but I'm biased because my wife is northern also i love Yorkshire pudding π
Sorry to say I do t like Aly, he is brainwashed, he shouldnβt put his nose between Russia and ukraine, I was unhappy to read about politics on his IG, super unprofessional. And please STUDY history. But I love eat and sleep blogger, he is brilliant, super attentive.
It's so much fun to watch you guys together ππ you're absolutely amazing! I will watch anything as long as you are in it.
I totally agree with you,London has that je me sais quoi that makes you fall in love with the city. Once you have visited the city you heart will remain there forever. I completely sure that the real thing is outside the zone 1 ,but you would need to know really well the city to explore these areas. Fantastic video ,what a couple you are, although I saw Aly so slim, are you well??? All the best from Spain. Btw ,I was in Portsmouth this summer,I didn't visit the isle of Wight but Portsmouth it's a gorgeous town, worth the visit.
Hi, guys π It's always good to see you two together π Well, while I was living in London, my favorite places were Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, and Green Park. But I used to spend time in Leicester Square too. Especially for the cinema. Actually, that was ten years ago. I can imagine how everything costs an arm and a leg right now. Also, there were outlet stores in Oxford Street. I still wear the clothes that I bought in there. As for the video suggestion, you could make a Harry Potter video with costumes π Greetings from TΓΌrkiyeπΓaΔlar.
Thanks for your better explanation.
You two are more than amazing
You 2 are my absolute favorite Brit!!! Hands down
You lot are the bestππ
Wow, awesome video of you two together! As for a possible future video, I would like to see you out and about in Bristol doing a video from you guys' accent series. Usually the Bristol accent is not talked about when teachers like you introduce to us viewers UK accents. Second, the little play you had with it sounded very fun, though of course that was an emulation, I would like you to talk with Bristol natives. And lastly you are fun together. So a video like that would be all fun, you know, fun little city, fun accent and fun guys on Bristol's streets. That just can't go wrong! All the love.
π Tom , Thank you, you are good professor I was seeing some content on English to go better on my listening and i encounter with you
So much fun to have you two in one video!
Thanks, you are both great guys!!!
You're great fun to watch, brilliant!
You might want to make a Christmassy video/podcast? Maybe with anecdotes of how you used to celebrate Xmas, or whatever else. I'm sure you'll manage to create something perfectly hilarious!
Btw I do hear the rhyming slang 'China' (plate) for 'mate' , being used occasionally (on tv)
Why donβt you try doing or discussing a Grimsby accent!!!
Itβs NOT Yorkshire, itβs not Lincolnshire either!! Good luck guys
"You got up on the wrong side of the bed" meaning your grumpy or in a bad mood
Wanker ?! ππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
Make more videos together ! Hagan mas videos juntos !πππ¦π·π¬π§π¦π·π¬π§π¦π·π¬π§
Why didn't I watch this sooner? You guys are so funny together, quite infectious. Love the 07:38 hahaha. So true!!!
Guys, you're really awesome, cool, brilliant, and hilarious, especially together! Keep doing that in any style! One more idea is to make a new video about English phrases which are popular in textbooks but not used or relevant anymore in a real life.
I am from the U.S. and I have a friend in Northampton and I know it sounds silly but, listening to you guys and learning slang made me feel closer to my mate than ever before as I always had to ask him what a wanker was (just as an example, not an insult) but I don't know where it's located or what type of slang was appropriate for friends. Thanks to you mates for teaching me a bit more about the U.K.
I'd love to see Tom in a video with Becky. That would be hilarious
Wank…r…. used to be also my fav ππππ
To begin with I'd love to know what's with the arm swinging thing?
Seocndly: "Dunstable" sounds like constable. That's why you, Ally, have a different accent than Tom. He is a "true Londoner", although I like yours a little more. It's more polite or should I say "posh".
Thirdly I need to comment on the apple crumble: Ally!!! After having done several videos on food, you choose apple crumble? Come on, dude! There must be something definitely more substantial than that. You could at least have mentioned one of these English pies, which are completely unknown around here (Flemish region, North of Belgium).
And lastly, I agree with the fact that you cannot go to a place with some idyllic or romantic idea of it. You really need to go on a guided or several guided tours first and see places in the light of their historic growth. H&M, Primark? I hardly set foot in those kind of places. Ever, and I will definitely not go to London to pop round them.π€
Blatantly the best English teacher π
Shopping English for H&M?
You have freckle on your chest ! π
