A short fix is a big washer with a small hole placed inside. It gets you trough a few weeks while you wait for the new one to arrive.

  2. I wouldn’t buy a new wheel/wheel set just because the rim is toast. If the hubs are fine, just get a spoke tool, remove all spokes, but a new rim and learn how to build it. You can get someone to true it for you, so you can save money and learn something new. That’s what I did last time the exact thing happened to me.

  3. Nope. Not fixable. Ugh. Ok. Not exactly. You could take the wheel apart and take the rim to a metal worker to weld a new piece of metal, drill a hole, and then heat treat the rim. If it’s an alloy that can be heat-treated again. Definitely not worth it. Get a new wheel.
