Is that a Diamondback Overdrive? I had once upon a time considered getting that because of the 29″ wheels. But settled on an Insight 2 for the 28″ hybrid wheels. It has more of a roadbike design to it than a mountain bike like the Overdrive.
Also, the plastic pedals that came with my bike broke within the first few months of ownership. I did not hesitate to replace them with metal ones. They squeak nowadays, but still do a solid job of resisting scrape damage.
