Unrelated, is that you on the XC Hardtail? If not, how does your buddy do in terms of keeping up with the drop bar gravel bikes? I just moved to an area where Gravel Racing is basically non-existent, but XC racing is HUGE and I am considering getting into XC, but would still love to do the occasional gravel group ride when they pop up.

I saw some thread about a gravel bucket list and thought I don’t really have one then I saw this lol.
Awesome shot! But be aware, anything hanging or flying off the train cars, could make it a really be a bad day. Seen flatbed cars with lumber flying off like toothpicks. When I ride along the tracks, when a train come past, I ride as far as I can from the train while staying on the road. Be careful and have fun!
