On 14th October 2023, I ran the Keswick parkrun in Cumbria in the UK. It is an out and back course on an old railway line with an all Tarmac surface but is surprisingly far from flat.

Well done ππ
Itβs the uphill on the wayback after the tunnel that kills me.i had gone south and wondered if I would find you at cabbage patch 10
Looks like a nice day for it. Well done!
20 past 6!! Should have done the Surrey League XC at Epsom instead.
Nice video Tim.. but i thought you were going to show me how to do 20min 5k – as per the title π€π
Hi Tim. reminds me of my early London mile start π
We've stayed at the Keswick park hotel several times in the past and I've run up and down the railway path . didn't realise it was that elevated – before garmins !
the tunnel looks like a new addition since our last visit in 2012 .
are you still planning an indoor 800 ?
I've entered the Lee valley meet on the 10 December which i think is a week after the Vets 5k .
Looks like a nice picturesque parkrun, and quite tough! One for a second cool-down run to properly enjoy the surroundings
Great running as always Tim! Didn't fancy doing a Bob Graham round while you were up there? π€£
Tim , there was a runner with a Double Pram at the MCR half this weekend , who completed the race around 90 minutes .. As Bowie said 'Got to make way for the homo superiors' π
1:05 Well done on that, looks like some really hard work. Actually kind of refreshing seeing Youtubers really going for it in races. Some people seem to do a Marathon every other week…
Nice one Tim. I know how you feel getting overtaken by people with buggies π though not quite as bad as getting overtaken by someone dressed as a gingerbread man which happened to me in the Brighton Marathon!
I knkw your a speed demon but this PR is only 126th on your Powerof10 ranking this year-did this hold true on your experience?
Well done Tim, a decent time on a far from PB friendly course. I don't do too many parkruns as like to save them for all out attempts to gauge my fitness. I've done a handful of easy when either hungover, suffering from a cold or coming back from injury but most of the time feel compelled to go for it as times are recorded and go on Power of 10.
Looks a good one. We don't get up that way very often as it's too far for a day visit and when we have a holiday we tend to rotate Dorset, Norfolk and Wales.
The railway infrastructure looks in excellent nick.
