The Grand Départ of Tour de France 2022 starts in Denmark. On this ride, you get to cross the impressive Great Belt Bridge, a really spectacular finish of stage 2. This segment will be one of the highlights of the Tour de France 2022. Even though it is not that steep, the strong headwind makes this an extremely challenging and dramatic segment.
This stage was filmed during a race that took 16000 cyclists over the bridge three weeks before the Tour de France peloton arrived. This race has a finish line that ends before the finish line of the Tour de France. So as you get to the finish line of the race you can enjoy a nice cool down while spectators are cheering for you as you get to the finish line of Tour de France’s stage 2.

Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride…

30:00 Oooops!!
Love it! What is the highest speed that you have achieved on any video?
Awesome bridge and race
Fin lille tur
Wow! I came to see how high the side barriers are for the tdf.
But I became hypnotised by the temporal aliasing effect on the broken white line road marking. Sometimes it just seems to float along with the riders. 🙂
What camera/mount combination do you use?
Loving these Bike the world rides and all filmed at cyclist eye level! … More More new rides of the same quality please!
Gracias por ofrecerme esta oportunidad de viajar de vuestra mano.
This was so fun! My average speed was about 3.5 MPH faster than a regular "scenic" ride, thanks to the competition. This rider is pretty baller. Virtually no drafting and passing/keeping up with an 8-man team.
I need to know more about this channel that's not covered on the About page. Is it all the same rider? Who is it? Are all the rides on bikes or are there some cars? Is there some sort of premium offering or a donation page? Thanks for any info.
Beautiful bridge and scenery. The Danes know how to do engineering! I crossed the Great Belt by ferry 27 years ago and never did I think I'd be doing it by bike in my shed here in West Cork, Ireland. The wonders of technology! Thanks for a super video.
What has this got to do with tour de france
