ahahahhahhaa Indimate Audible Indicator €129,95 no thanks
Some great ideas here. Anyone able to find the Visio dry anywhere ?
The Oxford Running lights look useful but apart from the Oxford site directing me to small bike shops near me, which probably won't stock them, has anyone found an online store where I can get them?
Hello there! Thanks for the tips! I was looking for the Oxford Position Marker Lights that you mentioned (06:39 Oxford Run Lights), but I couldn't find them anywhere. Would you have a link for where you get them from? Thanks!
Definitely agree with you on Calimoto. Used recently for a tour of mid Wales and some of the loop routes it conjured were truly amazing! I think that it will get better as the community evolves and shares more insights of their favourites too.
Huh never seen the Battery tester like that Ts120 before
Brilliant video and liked most of the kit. Like you I use Carpe Iter push button set with phone for past 3 years also Keis heated vest and Optimate both standard and canbus setting. A God send when Blood Biking on winter nights, only ever had to use the LOW heat setting. Not keen on Quadloc, Calimoto or beeline.
I would definitely like Oxford rear run lights, motorway night runs are concerning when cars fly past and you know they won't see a Bike rear light in time to avoid you.
Keep up the reviews, useful.
For phone mount please review peak design phone mount. Is it more easier & safer to use.
Hey man, be more careful giving hearts to bot comments, a quick glance at the profile picture shows you what they are
I hate 360 camera
Visio dry sold by demon Tweeks.
I did ask in the comment but didn't get a response and found it on this site whilst looking for random things
All these years and never knew heated grips cause gloves to let water through! That explains a lot of wet hands ! Thanks for the information.
Can't get VisioDry in Australia? Not even online that I could see.
Thanks, you highlighted some really nice accessories to make biking even better!
I bought a cardo to talk to my passenger and neither she nor I could get it to work-I thru it in the trash….
I would recommend a non battery based jump starter….super capacitor. https://youtu.be/ZMfo4mk3eIw?si=Cu9Qu9tXkzG3uNI5
Everything is priced way too much nothing gripped my wallet ,sorry .
Fantastic video, very helpful. Thank you for putting this together ❤
Loads of great ideas. Admore light bars for the rear are hard to beat. Don’t really see the point of just getting tail light without brake light as well (probably more important), but just an opinion. The Oxford chair is actually a copy/ripoff of Helinox. I have had a Helinox for a few years. Great, but when I went to get a 2nd, price was nuts. I tried one off the A site by Naturehike. Actually great so far. Shame that Carpe iter ditched their original controller which could be used on more than one bike. Look forward to trying some of the other ideas.
Tomtom goride app is still in beta mode but available on android. It being developed . There is also cardo launched this week their navigation app.
I always wonder how one can leave their indicators on ?🤦♂ are they blind that they don't see that bloody flashing control light on the dash or just don't give a 💩. ???
Yes and as usual they are all at rip-off prices because they are for motorcyclists.😞
Hi but with the damage on your camera lens ok it's not working anymore so you have nothing to loose start with 600 grit wet/dry paper then going up in 2 think you will find that nearly all of the scratches should dissappear
I don't know if the lens is glass I think it will be plastic though mate if so should get rid of them all good luck i did the same on 22 year old car lens like new now
Reference dash cams I’ve had for 6 months the AKASO brave 7 on my bike , great little bike cam £159 from Amazon, fitted with 512 gig micro card , you can get a app for your own phone , but I just stick card in my computer card reader , excellent pictures . I don’t put camera on helmet , but use ram mount with camera screw ball , no vibration, I don’t use sound although it’s got + a cover to cut out unwanted noise it’s waterproof to 5 metres + I’ve got the underwater case waterproof to 40 metres for those winter days , great buy 😊👍👍
You might want to consider an AirMoto as it has an air release button. I've been using an AirMoto for three years and it's still going strong.
Nice review of cool gadgets and such. ALL riders, PLEASE check out Trail Strike LED helmet lights, or similar. I have 1ea. mounted on each side of my RF-1200, and 1 on the back. These are rechargeable, with 3 flash cycles built-in and selected by a single button on the middle of each light. They are waterproof, extremely long-lasting, and cheap. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEY WILL ENSURE you ARE SEEN FROM ALL ANGLES. A MUST-HAVE item that can keep you safe like nothing else.
Smart charger’s from Lidl are amazing, and they are £14!.
John, the ring tyre inflator, what's the max psi?
Blimey I thought this was gunna be about the latest Belstaff wax cotton jacket with cotton lining to keep me warm on my 400 Superdream.
Things haven't half moved on.
BMW fanboys much😅😅😅😅
Also recommend SW-Motech tank bags. I have had mine for a few months now and could not be happier, all things considered.
Two things worth noting: The cover will keep out the water alright. But the see-through top will fog up in no time at all, making the clear window kind of useless. So if you have a phone holder on top of the bag for your navigation and things, you will not be able to read the display. No big deal for me, though.
Also, be careful when ordering your tank rings of you have a brand new bike. Many shops are only now catching up with the 2023 model line of bikes. For my 2023 Kawasaki, the correct tank ring was not yet listed on numerous web shops. All I could find was a model that said "Tank Ring PRO, Kawasaki 2018 – ", which might lead you to believe that you use the same one for bikes built from 2018 onwards. This is not the case. The 2023 model has a different tank ring. When in doubt, search for the part number you find on the SW Motech website and do not take the word of the shop clerk ("No, this IS the right one, definitely!") as gospel. Had to physically show them on my bike that the tank ring they sold me as "This is the right one!" does not fit.
The Australian designed Forcite helmet is great as a communication/navigation/dashcam or GoPro substitute (maybe a very early model GoPro).
Thanks, some useful stuff mentioned here.
Get a GoPro Max and become a lifetime exchange if damaged or lose or misfunction.
for a german guy this is double dutch listening. 😆
accumulator based things on motorcycles in low temperature outside is always short fun.
Hello. I have VFR800F 2017. I am desperate to install a fog light. But I don't know where to install it and what is the best support for it. Is there any decent in the market. Thank You
Quite some interesting bits of kit there and a few of them I'll be looking into at some point 🙂
Anyone know who can FIX CARDO Packtalk units outside of the warranty. I emailed cardo support and was told to "BIN IT" as they will not fix them after the 2 year warranty is up.. !! Great to know ,I own three units and only one is inside warranty now, I will be looking for a better sustainable company when they die. Thanks Cardo would have been nice to know this when I was buying them!!
What time does the spaceship take off?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
there will come a time when you won't be able to leave home without a 'smart' phone. why does sooo much stuff require a phone to operate it…………… ?? dumb
Some great stuff! I have a zumo xt2 paired with touratech mount and lock! Had it installed above the tft! Don't do it! The vibration is crazy! Maybe OK without the lock? I had it reinstalled on the handlebars! Perfect! Although, you will need a u lock slightly longer than the one supplied by garmin!
To bad calimoto stripped the free functions, i now need a subscription to make any trip. Would have rather payed for tha app than having to get a subscription.
Hi there Kevin from Australia. If the Visio Dry is as good as you suggest then I am happy to purchase. Cost is nothing over vision on dark wet mornings. I am struggling to find an outlet for the product. Do you have any recommended outlets I can try. Many thanks…….
36 accessories YOU need🤔😂
it took you 48 seconds to "get on with it". A rabbit has impregnated 30 other rabbits in that amount of time generating HUNDREDS OF LIVES. You Brits sure know how to waste time with your mouth on autopilot and your mind on "OFF" don't you?
1:28 to get to the 1st gadget? I know inbred Southerners who can get to the point faster than that, but you Brits don't care about wasting other people's time because you're all trying to be properly "annoying" like your Ricky Gervais. Never mind, I was never here, you're not reading these words and I'm not watching another second of a boring wind bag- toodles.
The best tank"ring" for a tankbag comes from Shad. It is the pinsystem. Could you please review that? Ist is ellegant with a rockfast attachement of the tankbag. Much nicer then an ugly ring on your tank. And the tankbag quality is superb.
