A time-lapse cycle ride around the north shore of Lake Balaton in Hungary.
Balaton lake is the largest lake of Europe and a great place to visit during the summer. The water is a bit too warm as it is quite a shallow lake but there are plenty of activities. From the relaxing and pretty hill peninsula of Tihany on the North shore to the party town of Siófok on the South shore which hosts huge festivals such as Balaton Sound which is one of Europe’s biggest open-air festivals.
The North shore section of the trail is hilly but surprisingly does not offer many views of the lake.

Cool! What’s your bike and how long have you been cycling? I just arrived to Budapest, and made only 3-4 tours to Visegrad and back. Gravel byke.
