2023 has been a massive year for Rock Up & Ride – Scottish Cycling’s flagship project that provides free bikes and training sessions to both children and communities – continues to grow on leaps and bounds.
As the UCI 2023 Cycling World Championships hosted by Scotland were upon us Transport Scotland confirmed further investment of £900,000 to support the Rock Up & Ride programme, delivered by Scottish Cycling.
In July, we revealed Halfords as our official bike supplier at the first of several project sites in the second cohort of Rock Up & Ride that have launched in 2023:
