Arctic Post Road film documents the bikepacking adventure of Henna Palosaari and Sami Sauri above the Arctic circle. The Arctic Post Road bikepacking route follows the remnants of the old Copenhagen-Alta post road starting from the fells of Pallas-Ylläs national park in Finnish Lapland  and runs through the Finnmark highlands all the way to Alta on the Arctic Ocean.

The route crosses a wilderness area that is three times the size of Belgium and one of the last remaining wilderness areas in Europe . This gravel bikepacking film showcases the beauty and harshness of the area.

  1. Great adventure and filming. I dislike when there’s an obvious party involved and the film (like this) pretends as tho there wasn’t. Who is behind the camera??

  2. So who's the camera person–cause this video looks like it had a third co-creative partner? Was this person Jukka Luhas "driver and filmmaker support"? Hope the mossies weren't too bad. 🙂

  3. A beautyful film about a beautyful landscape with two beautyful ladies, ….beautyful!!!! keep on filming, please. One question, what framebrand is Sami's bike?

  4. what bikes are used for this kind of stuff because they are always drop bars but all the travel bikes I see for sale are always straight bar mtb drive train and not even compatible with drops

  5. Suunto is a watch brand that advertises rock-solid performance and sturdiness, but that's not true. I bought a Spartan Ultra for €600, it was repaired twice and now Suunto is telling me that it won't is no longer repairable (8 years later) for a brand like Suunto this is unacceptable, given all the misleading advertising they do on the after-sales service and the solidity of their watches. what they were able to offer me was to buy a watch again

  6. Great video and it looks like loads of fun, how easy is food supply on these routes? Something worth considering for future adventures 👍

  7. Petualangan yang sangat menyenangkan dengan bersepeda, bisa menjelajahi keindahan alam tanpa batas.I like your vidio, good very good👍🤝🙏

  8. I'm doing a bikepacking trip from Kolari to the North Cape to Trondheim with a buddy, starting next week, and I'm so excited!! This route is essentially our first 400km, and it looks spectacular 😀
