In Germany ,to work in security there is always a CRO .check in Germany , all EU lands , and one 's home country . Also it is necessary to attend a school concerning self defence rights , state of emergency , first aid , and many other themes .
What a nerve ,saying you shouldn’t be there. This is or was our country and we’re the ones paying for them to be here. Like you said we’d all pay to buy a rubber dinghy for them to make the return journey if they’re not happy here.

I stayed in that hotel for the last Army V Royal Navy Rugby match before the lockdown. Was a nice hotel good price and staff were really nice.
