  1. I was thinking about maybe a screw extractor but not sure of the material and if it even works since the hole goes through.

The part broke the day I installed it. Since my shoes were scratching against the crank arm I used these to get a wider Q factor. I’ve been waiting 2month for my bike and on my 1st ride this happens, fucking sucks. Sorry I had to vent.

  2. Didn’t realise those existed. Sounds like a nightmare mechanically, given the forces involved. Is there a hex drive from the other side you can use?

I would look at drilling a large through hole and using a bolt / screw extractor if I were you.

  3. Did you need a wider Q factor or could you just adjust your cleats so your shoes don’t rub? You can also move your cleats inboard which will push your feet out.

As for your immediate problem, I’d look into a screw extractor too. It shouldn’t be in too tight considering it’s just the threads in there now
