I am about to drive 1.5 hours to buy this frameset and I wonder if it seems like a stupid idea. I need your opinion. Frame : Devinci Leo SL 2012 Price : 300 $ CAD / 220 USD Includes all frameset hardware and a carbon seat post.

There is damage from what looks like chain suck, does this look like a big deal?

The buyer has put the add on pending and seems to be eager to sell. But it looks like he is just very nice.

I have all of the parts of a trek domane 2016 ( 105 group) that I would transplant on this frameset.

I am not sure about the size as well. This frame is a XS, I am 5’6. But I ride a 50 cm kona rove that fits perfectly with a 50 mm stem. I also have a bunch of stems to adjust à smaller frame/bigger frame etc. I am including also a screenshot of the geometry différence between the bikes.

In your opinion :

1. Is the bike too small ? Or could be adjuster?
2. Is the frame damage a big deal or looks to be only cosmetic?
3. Is this a bad idea? Should I just get an aliexpress frame for 200-300 $ more? Money is a bit tight but I can’t afford to waste 300 on a broken frame.

Regarding size, I had a 52 cm road bike but had neck pains.
I tried a 51 cm gt grade, that was deemed too big by the shop rep.
I tried a 52 cm kona rove that felt to stretched out.
This is how I ended up on a 50 cm kona rove. It’s feels just right-ish.
I included a geometry comparaison on the 5th image. The devinci is a bit smaller, but seems like it would fit with a longer stem?
