Somewhere between a 1/4 and an 1/8th crank. I ran mine snug and the plastic cracked. It’s kinda a garbage design. Made my own adjuster that can go full slack or practically cassette. Still improving and need to make it from delrin or something strong. Their plastic is brittle as hell. If you want it on the tighter side but not risk the screw falling through or breaking the plastic I suggest finding a longer screw with the same thread, making sure it fits without catching the hub shell.
