Endurace* (won’t call it an Endurance again, thanks Bot) CF 7 Di (refurbished so the paint already had its first ding /scratch). I ordered it on Tuesday and Canyon basically overnighted it to me in LA – was assembled and on the road by Friday afternoon. Had to find some pedals and shoes on Amazon due to the speed of Canyon’s shipping. I was waiting for a new bike to come in stock but I see they reduce the sale and the bikes still aren’t in stock – I think I made the right decision with a refurbed (even if there were some wonky things with the bike – front caliper was tapped down and fully compressed the piston – didn’t have the plastic piece for between the pads). The bike actually came with flat pedals with toe-cages – that normal?
First 15 mile shake-out ride – feels very fast. Still need to do the basic mods and remove the dork disk and reflectors. Need to get a light. Need to do a proper bike fitting as I have no idea if it’s setup properly. First time using clipless on the roads and with traffic… no injuries or falls to report.
