Hi all! Trying to get my sram rival drivetrain up and running and I’m hitting some problems. I can’t figure out why my derailleur is sitting up so high and making contact with my cassette. I was going to try to start the indexing process but I can’t shift at all with the pulley cog making contact with the cassette. I tried using the b screw to space it out but it didn’t appear to doing anything and the derailleur hanger looks straight to me. I’m a relative newbie so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I’d say your chain is too long
The b screws can be a pain, make sure it’s contacting the small shoulder on the hanger, they frequently end up in front of it.
Could also be that you have a tad too much chain there.
Looks like the plate part of the b limit screw is not sitting on the rear derailleur hanger. I’ve done this a few times before. Remove the rear derailleur and make it it’s seated correctly.
