    A carbon steerer tube has to have the expansion plug supporting the steerer where the pinch bolts are clamping – for this reason the max amount of spacers above the steerer is generally 5 mm, with some extra long or deep-set expander plugs allowing 15-25 mm of spacers above the stem.

    In this setup there is zero support under the stem pinch bolts which can cause damage to the steerer tube over time.

    Also you can’t even get low over the front of the bike without having the steerer punch you in the jaw lmfao

    Not only is this super dangerous, but the type of damage cause by this is generally very obviously due to improper assembly meaning your warranty claim would get denied – adding insult to injury.
